Employees Collect Items in Honor of National Child Abuse Prevention Month and National Sexual Assault Awareness Month

April is National Child Abuse Prevention Month and National Sexual Assault Awareness Month. In recognition of these important issues, the Special Victims Unit in our Marion County office is collecting items to donate to Kimberly’s Center for Child Protection. Kimberly’s Center is one of Marion County's most important partners in prosecuting crimes against children. They conduct forensic interviews and medical exams of children who have been abused. They also provide advocacy and counseling services to the children they serve.

If you would like to join us in supporting Kimberly’s Center, they are in need of the following items: pull ups, wipes, sports bras, journals, headphones, towels, washcloths, individually packaged snacks, small bottled water, children’s underwear, toothbrushes, and small toiletry items.
