Employees With “Big Hearts” Sponsor 30 Foster Children

Thanks to employees of the Marion County State Attorney’s Office, 30 foster children will have a very Merry Christmas this year. The State Attorney’s Office partnered with the Guardian Ad Litem Program to provide toys to children who are part of Marion County’s foster care system.

The gift drive was organized by SAO employee Kim Muse. She coined the event Big Hearts “because I think it takes a big heart to reach into our own pockets during a time of year that can be tough and help these kids who truly deserve the world” said Muse.

On Tuesday, Assistant State Attorneys from the SAO’s Special Victim’s Unit organized the gifts and hand delivered them from the Marion County Courthouse across the street to the Guardian Ad Litem office.
