Grand Jury Indictments Announced in Lake County

State Attorney Bill Gladson announces two indictments by the Lake County Grand Jury.

1) Defendant Kolby Allen Parker has been indicted on the following charges:

Count I: Murder in the First Degree – Premeditated

Count II: Battery on a Law Enforcement or Other Officer

Count III:  Battery on a Law Enforcement or Other Officer

Count IV: Resist Law Enforcement Officer With Violence

Defendant Parker is accused of murdering a man by beating and stabbing him and slicing off his ears. Parker is accused of battering law enforcement officers by intentionally touching or striking two Lake County Sheriff’s Office deputies. He is also accused of resisting law enforcement officers by knowingly and willfully resisting the same deputies while they were investigating the death. All charges are alleged to have occurred on or about March 13, 2021.

The Lake County Sheriff’s Office investigated this case and worked closely with the State Attorney’s Office leading to this Grand Jury indictment. Assistant State Attorney Nicholas Camuccio is prosecuting the case.

2) Defendant Anthony Santino Rienzi has been indicted on the following charge:

Count I: Death Caused by the Unlawful Distribution of Fentanyl

Defendant Rienzi is accused of distributing Fentanyl or a mixture containing Fentanyl on or about January 14, 2021, which was the proximate cause of death of the victim.

The Clermont Police Department investigated this case and worked closely with the State Attorney’s Office leading to this Grand Jury indictment. Assistant State Attorney Nicholas Camuccio is prosecuting the case.
